Customer Advice

Network Rail have informed us of a points failure at Manningtree. Points allow trains to change tracks, similar to changing lanes or using a slip road in a car. At Manningtree, the mainline splits to go towards Ipswich and Harwich Town, and in this case trains are unable to run between Manningtree and Harwich Town

A Network Rail response team is on site.

In the meantime, accessible replacement buses provided by Panther will be in operation. Please note that e-scooters, electric and full size bicycles are not permitted on rail replacement vehicles.
