Various routes across Scotland

Description

Forecast severe weather across parts of Scotland means that various routes may be disrupted.

As a result, services may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or suspended.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Between Glasgow Queen Street / Edinburgh and Inverness

  • The 06:47 Kingussie to Inverness service is cancelled. Tickets will be accepted on the Caledonian Sleeper service.

  • The 08:43 Inverness to Glasgow Queen Queen Street service will terminate at Perth. Passengers can travel on this service to Perth, and then board the next Perth to Glasgow Queen Street service at 11:20.

  • An additional train service will operate from Perth to Glasgow Queen Street at 11:06.

  • The 09:42 Inverness to Glasgow Queen Street service will start from Perth. A bus will run from Inverness to Perth (operated by Lothian), calling at all stations.

  • The 12:07 Glasgow Queen Street to Inverness service will terminate at Perth. A bus will run from Perth to Inverness (operated by Lothian), calling at all stations.

  • The 17:33 Edinburgh to Inverness service will terminate at Perth. A bus will run from Perth to Inverness (operated by Lothian), calling at all stations.

Between Inverness and Wick

  • The 06:18 Wick to Inverness service will start from Lairg.

  • The 07:00 Inverness to Wick service will terminate at Lairg.

  • The 08:02 Wick to Inverness service is cancelled.

  • The 10:41 Inverness to Wick service will terminate at Lairg - Aarons bus will run from Ardgay to Wick

  • The 14:00 Inverness to Wick service is cancelled - MacNeils bus will run from Inverness to Wick

  • The 16:00 Wick to Inverness service is cancelled - Aarons bus will run from Wick to Inverness

With the roads now open ScotRail have managed to secure some replacement road transport.

Please check that your entire journey is still possible before you leave for the station.
