Description

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds across England, Scotland and Wales on Sunday 21 January.

Bad weather can severely affect the railway, with train delays and cancellations.

  • High winds can mean trains have to run at slower speeds than usual to operate safely

  • String winds can also bring down trees and other debris that blacks track and damages power lines

Currently it's not known if journeys will be affected and there are no current changes to the advertised timetables. Any changes that are made, will be shown here.
