Description

Strike action affecting TransPennine Express has been announced by the ASLEF Union.

Wednesday 31 January

TransPennine Express recommend customers to check before you travel due to planned strike action.

Disruption is likely on the day before and after strike action. You are advised to plan carefully for any rail journeys as services may start later and finish earlier than usual.

There is also an ASLEF Union overtime ban from Monday 29 January to Thursday 6 February. Whilst TransPennine Express expect to run a normal timetable ( 29-30 January and 01-06 February) significant disruption is expected to journeys.

There will be some alterations to evening services on Tuesday 30 January and to early morning services on Thursday 01 February.

For further information including FAQs and ticket refunds please see the TransPennine Express website here.
